About Our Federation
The All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) was founded in the year 2000 with the vision of uniting various transport organizations across the state under one common platform. It was established to bring together bodies such as the Bus Union, Taxi Union, Trekker Union, Tempo Union, Truck Union, Auto rickshaw Union, and others to collectively address the concerns and welfare of the public transport community. Shri John Panye served as the Founder President, providing strong and visionary leadership. Late Kabak Sala, as the General Secretary, played a pivotal role in laying the foundation of the Federation and worked tirelessly toward its development and unity.

The All Arunachal Pradesh Motor Transport Workers’ Welfare Fund Board, a longstanding demand championed by the (AAPPTF), is finally nearing realization.
During the years 2020–2021, the (AAPPTF) played a pivotal role in resolving a tense and potentially escalating confl ict between the transport communities of Arunachal Pradesh and the neighboring state of Assam
Under the leadership of Shri Dobing Sonam, facilitated the enrollment of nearly 53,000 individuals into key government welfare schemes-CMAAY (Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana), PMJJBY (Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana), and PMSBY (Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana).
In the year 2010, the (AAPPTF) took a progressive step toward youth empowerment by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Apex Bank Limited
